REVIEW + SWATCHES: BH Cosmetics Studio Pro Contour Palette

This is a 10 Shade matte powder palette: 4 for highlighting and 6 for contouring. This was just released last week!!! Keep reading to see my review and swatches.

Where to buy: Click here

Cost: $15.00

First Impressions:

The formula is soft, blendable and pigmented. There are a variety of shades that will work on most skin tones. The darker contour shades are VERY warm. As you can see none of them are very cool toned. The contour shades work well for bronzing though. The highlight shades are nice and pigmented as well. They work well as setting powders. They are not shimmery at all. Everything is matte in this palette.

Pros:

Blendable, soft, pigmented, and long wearing. I love the highlight shades for setting my under eyes.
Cons:

I feel like the contour shades are too warm and too orange. I would have LOVED this palette if they threw in some cool tone contour shades.

Pass or buy?

I am 50/50 on this. I say if you like your contour shades to be warm then you should get it.

  1. Hi!
I have a neutral, yellow undertoned complexion which is about a NW35?? (I use Too Faced Born This Way in Warm Nude). I was wondering if you’d recommend this contour palette for my skintone, and I’m not sure if warmer contour would be suitable?
    Thank you! (:
