Violet Voss Laura Lee Shades

Review:

I was so lucky to buy this palette last week on a pre pre-sale before the actual pre-sale. Shipping was $8 which is kind of annoying. I hate paying for shipping especially if it is something over $40. The reason why I haven’t bought anything else is because I don’t want to pay for shipping. BUT let me tell you – this palette is worth the shipping costs.

The colors are absolutely phenomenal! She did such a good job picking them out. There is the perfect amount of matte and shimmer shades. I love that this isn’t the typical neutral palette. Don’t get me wrong, I love neutral palettes. I was just really excited to see some of these unique colors. Many of the colors I don’t own in my collection – so that’s a bonus. Plus, the names are so stinkin’ cute. I really love that she put her personality into the names.

The formula:  You guys, this formula is amazing!! Where have I been? I can’t believe I have not bought one of the Violet Voss Palettes yet. These swatched like a dream on my arms. I didn’t use any primer and these go on so pigmented. I am so impressed with the colors and quality of the shadows. These are so creamy, buttery and blendable. The shimmer and duo chrome shades really pack a punch. I don’t know of any other shadows this pigmented as these shimmer shades. They feel similar to the Makeup Geek Foiled Shadows but I think these are more pigmented.  These go on the lid effortlessly and blend out nicely. They last all day and do not crease on me.
