What do you guys think? Are you excited like I am??
Instantly erase the appearance of dark spots, age spots, and hyperpigmentation with Revlon’s Youth FX Fill + Blur Foundation. Powered by innovative age corrective technology with micro-fillers and optical diffusers, this formula works to fill and blur lines and wrinkles for immediate results.
I bought two shades because the first shade I bought as too light. I have the shades 200 Nude and 220 Natural Beige. See more swatches blended out below at the bottom of the post.
This is a very interesting formula and so far I really like it. It is a very thick medium-full coverage foundation. It glides on to the face really nicely and almost has a primer feel to it. It definitely helps blur fine lines and pores and really helps smooth everything out. I like to apply it with my fingers and then blend it out with my Beauty Blender. It looks nice and hydrating after it’s applied. I have dry skin so I really like it. If you have oily skin I don’t think you will like it.
It lasts most of the day but it did start to breakup a little bit around my nose.
I will say the only downfall is the price and the shade selection. I feel like they need more shades and the price should be around $12 at the most, especially since it is drugstore.
But so far I think this is a great foundation for the drugstore.
Revlon’s Youth FX Fill + Blur Concealer dramatically transforms the appearance of crow’s feet. Powered by innovative age corrective technology with micro-fillers and optical diffusers, this formula works to fill and blur lines and wrinkles for immediate results.
I had high hopes for this concealer because I really loved the foundation. This concealer isn’t bad by any means but it wasn’t the best drugstore concealer I have ever used. I was expecting this to be really high coverage and great for dry skin. I would say this is more of a light to medium coverage. It doesn’t cover everything and the consistency is very lightweight. It dries really quickly so you need to blend fast.
I would suggest using a color corrector under this if you have discoloration since it’s not full coverage. It looks nice throughout the day and wears well. I think oily and dry skin could both wear it.
I do feel like it’s too pricey for the drugstore so if you can get a coupon then definitely use it.
I bought mine in the color 24 Natural Beige. The color is perfect for me. It’s not to yellow and not too pink, it’s the perfect neutral shade for my skin tone.
When I saw this I thought it was just going to be a normal powder that is suitable for dry skin. But I was wrong, this is just a nice silky powder that has a slight sheen to it. Half of the powder looks like a highlighter and the other half is just powder. When I first saw that it was a turnoff, but I actually like it now.
The powder is silky and smooth and when you swirl your brush in the two it really just gives your face a beautiful glow. It isn’t glittery or shimmery, it’s just a nice glow. I love using it as a finishing powder after my foundation and concealer is done.
I think the only downfall is the price. I think it should be priced more around the $8.99 mark. If you use your ULTA$3.50 coupon then it’s definitely worth it.
