Too Faced Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer Jerrod Blandino was inspired to capture that ethereal glow that occurs only when a woman is in love, so he went to Italy to discover an exclusive, liquid-to-powder formula that enables the light reflecting pigments to float in the powder. Unlike traditional pressed powders that crush the pearls during the pressing process, Too Faced’s innovative technology keeps the pearls spherical so they’re able to reflect light from any angle.
These highlighters are so beautiful! I was immediately drawn by the packaging and the geometric shape inside. I didn’t even want to use these because they are so beautiful. They would be so beautiful to keep on display.
Just like the packing the actually highlighter are beautiful themselves. They have the perfect amount of pigment and look beautiful on the skin. They are nicely pigmented and blend into the skin really nicely. I really wish they would have come out with more colors, and maybe they will in the future.
You can use these on your face or as eyeshadows. I personally love the champagne shade – Blinded By The Light. They are all so beautiful and there is a shade for everyone.

If you love the colors in this palette then you will love this!! I love Too Faced palettes, especially these 9 pan palettes. The formula is just like the others – fabulous! They are very creamy and soft. They really blend well and apply so nicely with a brush. They last all day and don’t crease if you use a primer.
It is supposed to smell like peanut butter and honey but I don’t think it does. It just has an artificial scent to it. It isn’t bad, but I just can’t smell the honey. It kind of smells like the Chocolate Bar Palette with a hint of artificial peanut butter.
As far as the colors go – they aren’t not my favorite colors. I really love the formula and I love how cute the palette is, but these are not my kind of colors. This will look so amazing on people that can pull of these shades, but for my skin tone it just doesn’t work. I really like these shades though: Peanut Butter, Creamed Honey, Honey Brittle, and Feelin’ Nutty. That yellow shade, Honey Buns, is so pigmented!! I really love that pop of yellow. It isn’t an everyday shade for me but it might come in handy around Halloween.
I don’t think this palette is a must. But if you love Too Faced or if you are a makeup junkie like me then you probably need it 🙂
Let me start off by saying that I like that Kat Von D side of the palette way more than the Too Faced side. The Kat Von D shadows are just as amazing as her there palettes. They are so creamy and so soft and so pigmented. Some people might not like the shade collection, but I like them. Especially since they aren’t all neutral. I think they work really nice together and that red shade is so pigmented.
Now the Too Faced side isn’t that great. I wasn’t a fan of the shades. The shades are nice and creamy and pigmented but I just don’t like the colors. I wish they would have put more mattes into it. I don’t feel like the shades are anything new. I feel like they have used these shades in palettes before. So that was a disappointment.
I love the Kat Von D Tatoo Liner but I have never really loved the Better Than Sex Mascara.
So for me the only part of the palette that was worth it is the Kat Von D products and for me it isn’t worth spending $65.
